The Department of Telecom has given a clean chit to Datacom Solutions Pvt Ltd on the grounds that there is no violation of the licence norms even if Mr Mukesh Ambani has equity stake in the company.

The Department of Telecommunications will refund the entry fee and the performance guarantee of Rs 86 crore paid by little-known Swiss firm By-Cell to start operations in India. DoT has prepared a draft note revoking the letters of intent (LoIs) issued to ByCell.
