Govt wants local body for issuing IP addresses (HBL)
Indian companies and Internet Service Providers could soon get their IP addresses from a local body. The Government, along with the Internet Service Providers Association of India, has approached the Australia-based APNIC seeking powers to issue IP addresses in Indiad.
